What to Remember Before ACOTAR 6: My No-Stress Refresher

A Court of Splintered Harmony comes out on Tuesday, October 27, six days from now, and I have a confession: I cannot remember half of Prythian.
So before book 6 lands, I'm writing myself a refresher, and sharing it in case your memory is as fuzzy as mine.
This covers the whole series through A Court of Silver Flames. If you haven't finished ACOSF yet, save this one for later!
Where Feyre and Rhys Left Off
Feyre started this series as a mortal huntress just trying to keep her family fed, and she ends Silver Flames as High Lady of the Night Court, mated to Rhysand, and a new mum to baby Nyx.
What I keep coming back to is how much the Night Court itself has changed. This was the court everyone whispered about, and by the end of ACOSF it's a found family with a baby in it. Rhys and Feyre aren't just surviving anymore. They're building something. Which, if you know Sarah J. Maas, means something is absolutely about to threaten it.
Nesta and Cassian: The Arc That Rewired My Brain
If you only remember one thing before book 6, make it Nesta's story. She started as the sister everyone had given up on: angry, self-destructive, drowning after everything she'd survived, and Silver Flames is her slow, painful, brilliant climb back.
She trains with Gwyn and Emerie. She becomes a Valkyrie again, in the truest sense. She and Cassian stop dancing around what they are to each other and actually claim it. I went into ACOSF nervous about a Nesta book and came out thinking it might be the most human story Maas has ever written. Whatever book 6 does with her, it has to reckon with how far she's come, and with the power she carries.

The Love Triangles That Are Still Very Much Unresolved
Elain is mated to Lucien. That's a fact. But the bond has never been the whole story, because Elain and Azriel have this quiet, charged thing that Maas keeps writing in the margins: shared glances, small kindnesses, and a whole lot of unsaid. And then there's Gwyn, whose connection to Azriel has fans (myself included) theorizing nonstop.
I'm not picking a side here before book 6. I'm just saying: somebody's heart is going to break, and I am not emotionally prepared.
The Threats Still Looming Over Prythian
Here's my quick threat board, because Maas never leaves a Chekhov's gun unfired:
👑The Dread Trove
The Mask, the Harp, and the Crown: three objects of terrifying power that nobody responsible should hold, and that everybody seems to want a piece of. Nesta's history with them is not finished business.
🌊Koschei
His name keeps surfacing like a storm on the horizon, and every mention makes my stomach drop a little.
⚔️The Mortal Queens and the Human Lands
The war with Hybern is over, but the politics aren't. The queens made bargains, broke promises, and proved that “human” does not mean “harmless.” Prythian's peace has always been conditional, and I don't trust it for a second.
🥀Tamlin
His story doesn't feel finished to me. The Spring Court is diminished, Tamlin is grieving everything he lost, and I have no idea whether book 6 gives him redemption, ruin, or something in between.

My 6-Day Reread Plan (The Realistic One)
I'm not rereading five books in six days. I have a shop to run and a Kindle to decorate. Here's what I'm actually doing:
Skim the last few chapters of Silver Flames.
That's where the most recent threads are freshest.
Reread my favorite Nesta and Cassian scenes.
For morale. And because I want their voices in my head going into book 6.
Make a one-page note of open threads.
Literally the list above, stuck in my reading journal, so I can tick things off as book 6 answers them.
Charge my Kindle and clear my Tuesday.
October 27 is a reading day. Everything else can wait.
If you're doing your own refresher, tell me what I forgot. I guarantee there's a thread I've blanked on, and I want to know before Tuesday, not halfway through chapter ten.
One Last Thing: Dress Your Kindle for the Night Court
This is a sticker designer's blog, so I have to say it: if you're heading back to Velaris, your Kindle should look the part. Stars, mountains, night-sky purples: my Night Court stickers are getting a full workout this week, and my reread tabs are doing heroic work holding my place in the scenes I keep flipping back to.
